Avoid Overpaying — Stop Automatic Renewal |
|---|
|
The subscription you purchased from Nandu Software will not be automatically renewed by us. However,
Microsoft will try to renew it automatically through them — but at the maximum price! They might offer you one
free month, but since their price is high, you’ll still end up paying more. CHECK IF AUTOMATIC RECURRING BILLING IS ENABLED: Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and review your subscription. If you see “Subscription expires on” with a date — automatic renewal is not enabled. If you see “Recurring billing enabled” with a price and payment method — Microsoft will automatically renew your subscription at their higher price. TO DISABLE: 1. Click "Manage subscription" 2. Then click "Turn off recurring billing" 3. At the bottom of the page, select "I don’t want my subscription..." You’ll see a confirmation when it’s turned off. You can verify this by signing out and back in at https://account.microsoft.com/services. HOW TO RENEW FOR A FAIR PRICE To renew affordably, simply order a new one-year subscription on our website! You’ll pay the lowest price without any obligation. |
ACTIVATING MICROSOFT 365 PERSONAL
In just a few steps:
• Buy a licence: click here• Read the notes below
• Step 1: Choose or create a Microsoft account
• Step 2: Activate the licence key
• Step 3: Download the software
Note: switching from Family to Personal?
If you’re switching from a Family to a Personal subscription, please wait until the Family subscription has ended. After the Family subscription ends, nothing will be immediately blocked; you’ll have a short grace period to put things in order. Please be careful! Microsoft will offer to convert the 12-month Personal subscription into a 9-month Family subscription. Since you don’t want this, you need to be sure you don’t accept it.Note: about Microsoft accounts
A Microsoft 365 Personal subscription is managed in a Microsoft account.- If you already have a Microsoft account for personal use, you can use it for this subscription.
- If you have a Microsoft email address for personal use (with @live, @hotmail, @outlook or @msn), that is also your Microsoft account.
- If you do not have a Microsoft account yet, or if you do not wish to use the one you have, you can create new one with any email address you own.
STEP 1. CHOOSE YOUR CORRECT ACCOUNT
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/
- Now there are three options:
1. You are redirected to an existing Microsoft account, and you see an overview
2. You can log on to an existing Microsoft account
3. You can create a new Microsoft account - Please be sure to remember or save the email and password of any account
- When you have successfully logged on or created a new account, continue to Step 2
STEP 2: ACTIVATE THE LICENCE KEY
You have received a licence key from us. Microsoft can refer to it as a “product code”. It can be confusing, but in this case, both terms mean the same thing.- Go to https://www.office.com/setup
- Click on “Get started”
- Enter your licence key (Microsoft may call it ‘product code’)
- You can copy/paste the full code to avoid typos
- Make sure you don’t include spaces before or after the code
- The ‘admin code’ in brackets is for our own administration, you don’t need it - Click "Next"
- Click the white button "No, Thanks"
Microsoft will now offer automatic renewal of your subscription ("recurring billing"). This is very expensive. We recommend that you click “No thanks”:
- You’ll be asked the same question; again click “No thanks”.
- In the next step click “Redeem”.
STEP 3: DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE
When renewing a subscription, you do not need to download the software again. Not all programs are available on all devices; check the system requirements.
- On brand new Windows computers
On brand new Windows computers, often a trial version of Microsoft 365 is pre-installed. If so, you can simply open Word and sign on with the email address and password of your Microsoft account. If it is not pre-installed, go to the next step. - Install on computers and laptops (Windows and Mac)
- Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services/
- Click “Install”. The installation file will download
- If it doesn’t start automatically, look for the downloaded file and click “Run”
- Install on tablets / iPads / smartphones / Chromebooks
On these devices you can download the individual apps (Word, Excel, etc.). Download the app(s) first, then sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Go to the App Store or Play Store
- Download the required app(s)
- Sign into the app with your Microsoft account’s email address and password.
